David-wayne`s birthstory

on the 30th of march i had a Dr.'s appt so i went in to discuss stuff on what i needed to do for the following week as i was scheduled for a c-section and the dr said lets just check to see if you have started to dialate. So he gets done and says im 1 cm and the baby is very high still so i get dressed and leave. Well later that day i went to the park to go walking and then that night i went to walmart super store to walk around and try and get the baby to drop or something. well about 3:45am on the 31st my husband comes to bed cause he couldnt sleep and it was like as soon as he got into bed i started feeling weird so i shrugged it off and tried to sleep. well the pains were coming every 3-5 mins apart from about 4-7 am so i decided to call the hospital and ask them what to do and they said to come in. So we got my daughter up and took her to my mother-in-laws house and we were off to the hospital. They got me hooked up to the monitors and got my I.V. in thinking i was dehydrated and that the I.V. would stop contractions well it didnt. About 9am the nurse comes in and checks me and im at 3cm and says the dr. isn't gonna be able to do the c-section till 11am so i said ok, the nurse gave me a shot of something to try and stop contractions but it made them worse so i sat and waited and prayed that 11 would come fast cause these contractions hurt like hell but i didnt want no pain medicine till it was time for to go back and get the c-section. so at 11 am they get my husband all suited up and get me on the gurney(sp) and wheel me back i get my epi in and all was like heaven. @11:42 am my little man was here weighing in at 8lbz 3oz and 20inches long. they showed him to me and took him off as he had swallowed some amniotic fluid so about 12:20 or so i was heading back to my room waiting for my little prince to come to me....
