Pangea-Florenda-Webster`s birthstory

Well Friday (06/18/10) moning I woke up at 7:30a.m. Got up to go pee sat down and `PLOP` so I just thought it was discharge from the sweep I had done 4 days before. I wiped and it was clear, I stood up and `GUSH` MY WATER BROKE! :) at 7:45a.m. So I waited a lil while before I woke anyone up to get them ready to go to the hospital seeing as I had no contractions. We got there around 10:30a.m. So still with no contractions my Dr decided to give me pitocin. Well then they tell me I have to stay in bed so they can monitor the baby. Boy was I mad!!!! So around 8:15p.m with my contractions comming every min and lasting about a min I was starting to feel some pain so I asked for the IV pain meds and so the nurse gave me some and said to wait 15 mins to give me the rest of the dose. Well about 10 mins into it the pain was so darn strong I told her I wanted and epi.... well she said it would be like 15 or 20 mins just then I felt my body pushing I freaked out and told the nurse I was pushing and I needed help to stop since I was only 4cm dialated after the 3 time my body was trying to push she checked my cervix and wow in a 5 min period I went from 4cm dialated to 10 cm dialated and pushing baby out. 4 pushes later I had my wounderful baby girl and have my hubby, bff, and mom to thank for support!
