I went in on Monday Dec 8th for my induction they started the first dose of cervidil at 3 pm. Started out only dialated to a finger tip. Contractions started shortly after but they werent that bad they just felt like my stomach was tightening up and werent painful at all. I had the second dose of cervidil by then i was completely effaced but still only a fingertip to a cm dialated which was a disappointment. At 3pm tuesday they started me on cytatec or something like that it was another cervix ripening agent. they repeated that until 3:15 am wednsday morning when my water broke. By this time the contractions are going really good. When my water broke I had looked at my mom and told her I think my water just broke she said well if it did then you would definately know it. I was like well i just felt something pop and then everything shifted. So I called the nurse in and told her either my water just broke or im peeing all over myself. Shortly after they tried to give me an epidural. The first attempt was horrible the dr doing it was unable to do it and it was painful cause he was hitting in the wrong spots. finally he said there was too much swelling to be able to do the epidural and im begging for them to stop. we decided to wait until the next dr came on to try again cause im cussing the nurse and telling her to get him away from me and clint is trying to calm me and himself down cause hes ready to go after the dr cause hes never seen me cry from pain before so he was a nervous wreck ( the poor guy). anyways they start the oxytocin without the epidural (which i dont recommend for anyone make sure you can get pain meds first lol). Finally about 8 am the new dr comes on shift and hes able to do the epidural. When he walks in with my OB/GYN im looking at both of them and saying if it doesnt work this time please just knock me out with general anesthia and give me a c section. this time my mom is in the room with me to calm me down, lol next thing you know after the dr tells me no my moms on her case saying well what if she does like i done and only gets to 2 cm and doesnt progress any further. I thought my mom was about to go after the drs too. anyways the new dr was able to get the epidural done and i was happier. i think i slept till like 4:45pm when they woke me up to check me again. Guess what i pretty much done like my mom except i only got to 1.5 cm. seeing that i had not progressed any my dr said ok we are taking her back for a c section. at 5:13pm Dec 10, 2008 Savannah Rose was born and so far shes our little miracle. shes beaten one odd cause of a test they done for spina bifida and down syndrome seldom comes back as a false positive. well guess what shes perfect! she also came back neg on another test and i couldnt be happier. i can honestly say that this year i have gotten the best christmas presents i could ever get in my life. A little girl which i had only dreamt of and never thought i would ever have especially when i was with my ex after everything had happened. i have the greatest man ever. I love her more than anything. Im finally happy I have my own little family and of course my extended family and friends they are all so great and love them all dearly.

Kade was born at 12:59 pm on monday August 16th 2010. He was born by repeat c-section. This time around was a much better experience than last time! I didnt have no where near the problems with the epidural and the dr's and nurses were so much more nicer. He has been a very quiet baby who doesnt really cry at anything other than having his diaper changed. he doesnt cry when hes hungry or has a messy diaper. so i have to constantly check lol. hes a very good baby and he is loved by all!
