Eli-Robert`s birthstory

It all seems so surreal. I was 2-3 cm and 80% effaced on Tues at the Dr. Then Wed I barely had any contractions. Thurs I woke up with little contractions. They got pregressively worse all day. By 5:00 PM I knew I was going to go into labor. I called the Dr at 6:30 to tell her I was 7 mins apart but I wasnt going in yet. Then the contractins got worse. At 7:30 my water broke. I called Dan to come home from work and we got to the hospital by 8:15 but didnt get checked in until 9:00. The pain was excruciating. When they finally checked me I was 6 cm diated and completely effaced. Then it all happened so fast. I had to wait a very long hour for the epi. by the time i got it i was 8-9 cm dilated. A half hr later I was complete complete and just waiting for the head to lower more. The hardest part was pushing. I pushed for a little over an hour. I knew Eli wanted to wait until it was Friday the 13th. At 2:18 AM he made his grand entrance into the world.
