Jude`s birthstory

After calling my nurse to tell her about a slow leak of fluids she told me to go to the hospital. The fluid tested positive for amniotic fluid so they concluded my water had ruptured and since I was 36 weeks and 6 days it was safe to induce. I was given oxytocin and after 16 hours of labor and the longest night and morning of my life the doctor decided to do a c-section. I stopped dilating at eight cm and amy cervix was starting to swell. The c-section went incredibly well and it was still an absolutely beautiful birth. There is no feeling on Earth like seeing your baby for the first time. He had a full head of blonde hair and was more beautiful than I had ever imagined. Although he was 37 weeks to the day, he was incredibly healthy and scored a 9.9 on the Apgar. So here he is, making our nights sleepless and our lives wonderful.
