Sorry its long and in detailed story, sooo if u dont wana graffic birth please dont read..............


Started off having proper contractions(thats when I woke up an couldnt go back to sleep from them) on Friday at 3:30am. They were 10mins apart but as the morning went on they started getting irregular soo thought another false alarm!! Went to Antenatal Appt at 9am on Friday morning, the contractions started back up and varied between 5 an 8mins apart. They gave me a sweep and said I WOULD be having this baby today and I was 3cm dilated, and I was like oh hopefully this weekend but MW said NO! Today!! So went home and monitored them up til 12ish pm when they were between 2 an 4mins apart. I refused to go in yet tho as I wanted food so we had food and by then they were 1min an held apart. So everyone was like u gota go in.

Called L&D and they didnt want me to go in til I felt I needed pain relief but I went in as couldnt feel baby moving. They put me on a ward and forgot about me! So Fiance went to check what was happening and they thought I had already been checked!! Fools!! So took me to side room and checked and I had dialated to 5cm! So no going home then. So they sent me to my own room on the Labour ward at 3pm. Had 3 lovely MW`s! (Not all at once, one at a time) was labouring fine, had no pain relief as was copein well. Went into the Pool at 6pm but by 7pm had enough and wanted to come out. I was due to be checked for further dialation at 7:30pm but for some reason MW just decided to check and then it all kicked off!!

Babys heart beat had gone from the 139`s up to 202 so I could see the MW gettin all serious and working really fast. Other ppl got called into the room and I was having constant contractions. Started panicking so went on Gas an Air an the pain was soo bad I was shoutin for pethadine but it did nothing! They got a Doctor in and he took blood tests from the baby`s head inside me to see what had happened to make baby heart go soo fast as everythin had been going perfect til I got out of the pool. The results came back ok so they let em keep on labouring but I still had not dilated anymore so was still 5cm!! I was still panickin an just wanted baby out so kept askin for caesarean but they said nope! The doctor was really rude to the MW and that upset me and I kept sayin I didnt like him! But he went sooo I was fine then. Got my fiance to call my mum as I wanted her there (had said ALL the way thru pregnancy didnt want her there but I WANTED HER THERE) She came down and I was gigglin away on gas an air between contractions. Telling them if I poo`d it will smell as I had Ravioli for food (OMG Embarrasin) Was in Loads of pain so I had my Epidwdl as i called it. (epidural) Every calmed down but still could feel contractions so they put ice on me to see if epi had worked and I couldnt feel it but could still feel the pain, so had to put up with it!! Another doctor came in an took more bloods from her head again, which came back normal - Still was askin for the Caesarean but they wouldnt. Kept feeling like I needed to Poo so I told them and they said push passed it its normal( As they thought I would be hours yet) but I kept on an on that I had poo`d, WHICH I HAD!! soooo they checked me and the head was there ready come out!! Started pushing and Felt every bit of it! Was soo tired an screamin I couldnt do it an every swear word going (kept apologisin when I stopped pushin) did the pantin thing and the pushin, they kept sayin when u feel u need to push then push but I couldnt feel it so I just kept squeezin anyway haha. At 1am they said she would be there in minutes if I pushed. So Pushed til they said stop and head was out! PHEWWW but then the cord was wrapped around her neck, really tight so took 2 MW`s to get it off an slid the baby out onto my chest but rushed her away soon as cord cut. And more ppl came in room, started panickin as no scream til 3mins later baby cried YEYYYY!!!
Sooo gota hold her while they delivered my placenta! The most crazy 22hrs of my life but definately worth it now we got our gorgeous perfect lil girl!!! I had no rips/tears just a few grazes. Got left alone in room for 3/4hrs for us to spend time with our likl bundle an I had a shower <-----YES I COULD STILL WALK! as I could feel my legs all the way through it!!

I have prob missed out loads but the rest of the time I was gigglin away, chattin and watchin Wimbledon tennis sooo its not all bad lol

Osian-William-Davies`s birthstory

Had membrane sweep at 10:00am. Nothing happened from that so guessed it had not worked. Went for a walk with LO and H2B around some shops. Started loosing plug so was happy that something come out of the sweep! Was told to expect some cramping and maybe bit of blood loss - they felt like contractions but just took it it was the cramping I was told to expect.

4/5pm ish - Cramping still happening so thought I would keep an eye on it to see if anything was actually happening, by 6pm I knew it was contractions and they were 10mins apart. Manageable tho! By 9pm they were all over the place between 5 - 12mins apart and it was going from my stomach then I would have 1 in my back so didnt know if it was a contraction or not. Decided to go to bed get some sleep just incase, called the MIL to be on stand by for LO.

11pm woke up in agony, contractions were 2mins apart and felt like how I felt at the end bit of my first labour so called L&D and they said to come in. Got there by 12am and was hooked up to the monitors but the contractions had gone back to 8mins apart but hurt sooo bad! I asked for pain relief but was only 3cm so they were going to send me home but babies heart rate kept dropping with every contraction so they said they would monitor me for a bit longer.

They gave me pethadine and Gas&Air to shut me up I think lol. But still didnt make any diference to the pain, they refused to give me an epidural til I was at least 4cm dilated. After 2hrs of agony cant they finally checked me again as if I had not progressed they were going to send me home! And found that I was 9cm dilated, think the MW felt guilty at this point as she wouldnt give me the epi sooner when I was begging for it! So they went to break my waters to get me to 10cm but then said my waters wasnt there???? I hadnt felt any waters breaking so was confused! So they got me on the bed and checked again and think they found them then (cant really remember hehe) So they said push when I was ready......

After 16mins of pushing and feeling everything coz of no Epi my baby boy was born at 4:30am!! Considering he was suppose to be an 8lber baby he was tiny! And with Hair(1st LO still has hardly any)!!

Soooo basically if I had been sent home when they were gonig ot send me home I would have had my LO at home! Soo lucky they kept me in. Oh and I had no stiches YEYYY!!! And feeling absolutely great down below considering I pushed a baby out of me hehe xxx
