Emma-Gizelle`s birthstory

i woke up at 1:00am with contractions about 8 min apart. i walked around the house & got on this site till i couldnt handle the contractions anymore, about 3am. i woke up my hubby and we took my 2 yr old daughter to her grandma`s, then off we went to the hospital. this time i was sure i was in labor cause the contractions were about 4 min apart and they were making my lower back really ache. I checked in at 3:30am. i was already dialated to 5cm and 90% effaced. about 40 min later i was given my epidural. last time i went natural and it was soooooo comfortable getting that epidural, i didnt feel anymore contractions. i called 2 of my sisters to come on over, one took pics and the other held my leg during the pushing. my hubby was the coach. i took several naps, since i was so exhausted from waking up so early. when it was time to push i was able to feel the urge. my epidural was beginning to lose strength. and heck yes it hurt to push the head out but pushing her shoulders out was more painful. it took me about 30 min of pushing and my lil girl Emma Gizelle was born!
