Milinda-Elle`s birthstory

Woke up at 6am.. when my bf left for work... shortly after that I started having good contractions.. no bloody show though. They weren`t easing up even though they weren`t steady.. they were coming every 2-6 min`s after almost an hour.. called my bf.. told him to turn around and come home (works an hour away!) Called my 18 mo olds sitter let her know.. she was nice enough to come pick her up for me.. at this point it`s been 2 hours and the contractions are bad.. and 2-4 min apart... called my doctor.. and they wanted to check me... (I wanted to go right to the hospital) so we head that way.. 20 min after I called them.. on my way in, my water broke in the car... so we head to the hospital... but now I`m in active.. time to push labor! Screaming while my bf follows most of the laws of the road... we make it to the hospital.. pull up to the ER doors.. the guy wheels me in.. no time for check in ... they wrote my name on a yellow sticky or something.. haha.. a nurse undressed me... kinda threw a gown on.. and I was put on a gurney.. and the ER doc checked me.. I`m ready he says.. I`m thinking... `yeah... I have to push.. I know I`m ready!` :) they then wheel me though to my birthing room through the ER rooms.. my butt in the air... screaming so everyone has the opportunity to look up and catch a look at my nakedness... get to my room... made me roll on to my bed.. again.. in all my naked, pushing, screaming glory... I get to my bed.. the doc sat on the lowered end of the bed.. I let them know I neeeeed to push.. I`m trying sooooo hard not to.. my midwife walks in ... trades places with the doc.. said I could do what I needed to do.. I push... and out comes her head.. they had me slow down so they could cut her cord that was around her.. I pushed again.. and she came out.. all at once.. not even one shoulder then the next.. just all at once.. ha.. I was in some major pain... really had wanted an epi or some sort of pain killer.. but didn`t even have my iv put in before she came! I`d take that fast super intense labor anyday... even with the pain... from start to baby.. it was 3 hours... she is perfect and I`m in love!
The funniest thing... my bf went to move the car from the ER entrance... and the car was still running! In all the excitement.. he never shut it off! Thank god it was still there! haha...
