(3 months premature.. a true blessing from god. we love you)
well i was in labour from sunday the 6th of july but i didnt know, as i thought it was growing pains i was expiriencing. my partner took me into the labour ward on wednesday night as the pain became unbearable but i got sent away being told i had a minor water infection. then on thursday morning as i woke, my waters broke all over my sofa. that came as a bit of a shock!! the ambulance arrived and took me into the labour ward AGAIN, and i found out i was already seven cm's dialated. it was too late for any pain relief other then gas n air (which is awful it made me feel really nauseus) and i found it excrutiating. i was only in the later stages of labour for 14 minutes and then out popped tobias weighing only 2 pound 3 lookin very tiny and very bruised. i didnt even get to hold him and the nurses took him away and transferred him to reading hospital without me as milton keynes generals neonatal ward had an infection at the time. i felt as though mk hospital treated me unfairly as i had to discharge myself the next day and travel up to reading by train and tube as me and my partner dont drive. i was in undescribable pain but there was no other way to see my son as milton keynes hospital wouldnt transfer me. tobias was in reading for a total of two weeks before being transferred back. i have to thank the royal berkshire hospital in reading for the way they treated me, my partner and my son. the hospital is fantastic and the nurses were amazing they will always have a place in our hearts. i love the nurses of the buscot ward they need a raise lol!! but now tobias is doing really well hes gadually getting stronger AND heavier and hopefully we will get to bring him home soon as we miss him so much. hes bought soo much to us already and i thank god hes giving him a chance. hes my angel!! god bless you tobias keep up the good work lil man!! xxxx
