James-Alfred-Christopher`s birthstory

Well it was a planned c-section, the day arrived and I was so thirsty and hungry because nothing to eat or drink after midnight, and it was a freak heatwave and because of this everyone seemed to go into labor. Thankfully my surgery was only delayed an hour. During prep when they were putting my IV in my DH totally fainted. Then of course I fainted because I was worried about him. No wonder my OB refers to men as the inferior sex. LOL! After everything was done the anesthesiologist came to talk to me, and he was amazing.

I was wheeled into surgery and made comfortable and my little guy was born at 1:29 p.m., weighing 10.5lbs. My smallest child. He swallowed a little too much fluid on the way out, so when they got the fluid out they put him on antibiotics for seven days.

I had a rough go, lost a lot of blood and had my tubes tied. Making recovery more difficult. I was kept in the hospital an extra few days. I'm still sore two weeks later. Which is by far my worst recovery. I think it has to do with the tubal ligation. No more babies for me.

We're all home now, and everyone is happy and healthy. James is a great rooter and breastfeeding like a champ! Which of course makes me exhausted. But it was worth it.
