Israel`s birthstory

I went to the dr who was covering for my obstetrician while he was on vacation to meet him and to have my 37 week checkup. I told him that I had contractions all the time but they weren`t painful. My primary reason for being there was just to make sure the yeast infection I had the week before had gone away. He did an internal exam (ouch) and said `I can`t find your cervix` I was like `well is it missing?!` lol he continued digging around in there and eventually said `your 5cms, baby is in -1 station and your waters are bulging`. I was 3cms at 34 weeks so I figured with all the contractions I had been having that I had dilated some more. He sent me to maternity right away for monitoring and told me that he thought I was in `silent labour` meaning I`m dilating but having no pain associated with it. I stayed at the hospital for a few hours and the midwife came to check my progress and said that she could stretch me to a 7cms very easily. Dr said that my waters could break at any time and that since I had to have a repeat section that we should just go ahead and do it now. I called my ex so that he could b present at the birth and my mother and sister came as well.
Israel was born at 7:35pm weighing 7lbs 1oz. His pediatrician said that had he gone to 38 weeks (my scheduled csection) he would`ve been around 8lbs. Needless to say I`m happy he decided to come early. He had scores of 9 and 10 and is very healthy.
