Aidan-Maddox`s birthstory

my water broke at 1830. went in to the hospital at 1930 just draining water, but no contractions. Failed 2 test for amniotic fluid but the nurse was positive it was becuase of the massive amount that was coming out so she kept testing and on test 3 i passed. around 400 my contractions still hadnt started so they started me on pitocin and also made me stay in bed because aidans heart rate would drop and not go back up each time i got up. around 900 i was in soo much pain from the contractions that i said okay yes im ready for the epidural. i wanted to wait as long as possible cus i didnt want it to wear off early. so the nurse checked me and i was 7cm dilated so they got the dr. to stick me. after i got the epi. i told him that i loved him. he said he gets that a lot. im sure he does. about 2 hrs. later i felt this need to push so i was checked again and it was go time. i pushed on my back for awhile but aidans heart rate was going down again so they rolled me to my side and i pushed there. it was pretty painful i remember when i pushed and felt the pain that i would push even harder to try and push thru the pain. and that really helped. soon they were saying they could see his head and then they asked if i wanted to reach down and touch his head. i did, and it was slimy and covered with hair. like i knew it would be. so shortly after that he was born. and let me just say that i have never loved anyone more than i love that slimy little baby they were laying on my chest.
