Austin-James' birthstory

i was 9 days over due and got induced at 8am on friday the 6th of june.
they broke my waters and the contractions started coming.
so my mum helped me into the shower.
i was in there for about ten minutes when the contractions were so bad it brought on my bells paulsey, so they had to give me an epidural like an hour later(it hurt so bad)
the next few hours are kind of a blur!
then 12 came around and i started to get sick my temperature sky rocketed and then the vomiting came not long after.
by 3pm they told me that they had to stop the epi cause i needed to start to push.
they stoped it and the pains got alot worse so i started to push.
my midwife said i can see his head so i pushed more.
i pushed so hard i gave myself a really bad headache.
i ended up saying i cant do it any more my back hurts coleen my midwife said i can see his hair then a few more hard pushes and Austin James was in the world!

if it wasn't for the love of our children i would really be saying how could any woman put them selves through such pain?

because i had the epi i didn't feel how bad i tore (thank goodness) my mum said it was the worst she had ever seen.
i had to have three layers of stitching done cause i tore from the inside out (graphic i know but meh!)

i think it was definately worth all the pain just to hold my baby.
i couldn`t have asked for a better or more perfect son =)

6 month check! (09.12.08)

austins weight 9.5kgs and is 71.5cm long

the doctor is happy with his progress and feels he should be crawling in the next month (yay)

well Austin is seven months old now but still not crawling i hope it happenes soon =) at austins 7month check he was 10.2kg ( about 22lb) he is 72.5cm long and his head circumference is 48.2cm.

At 2.5yo austin weighs 14.5kgs and is approx 95cm tall =) he is going to be one tall young man =)

at 3.5yo austin weighs 16kgs

Baylee-Scarlett`s birthstory

We went to the hospital on the 15th for daniel to have some bone scans and i was just ment to be on the fetal monitor for an hour just to see how her heart was. we had been told she was not growing fast enough and that there may be something wrong with the cord. I was on the monitor and the doctors came in and had a talk with us about what was going on the doctor said they decided they were going to induce me (incase of any underlying problems she may of had, it was best she came out now) i was already 3cm so they started the drip and broke my waters at 10:30am. Daniel had to pop out for a bone scan at 11am and by 11:10 i was sending him messages saying hurry up this is coming on fast and the contractions are so strong. He pretty much ran back to the labor suite. I was having really strong contractions every 2 minutes lasting for a minute until 12 when my contractions sarted getting stronger i was trying to use the gas but it was making me mad and im pretty sure it was making my contractions stronger lol. I was holding Daniel's hand and pretty much head butting him i just felt better if my head was pushing against his i just felt like i was more able to cope lol. i asked for more pain meds but they said there was no point it wouldn't work in time. a little bit later i said i wanted to push so the nurse checked me and said i was at 7cm and to hold on a bit longer, by 12:10 i said i was going to push and the nurse said ok 2 contractions and big pushes and her head was out and all you could see was hair brown hair. Then they said dont push too hard just little pushes one push and her shoulders and the rest of her body came out, no tear's and no stiches (yay). BAYLEE SCARLETT MOORE was born at 12:19pm 1 hour and 50 minutes after mummy was induced. She is the most georjus perfect little girl we are all very much inlove with her. She went straight on my chest and i cried she was so beautiful and there was nothing wrong with her, i still cant believe how easy it was compared to my first labor.
