Andréa`s birthstory

After 19 hours of labor, 2 1/2 of that pushing, my little girl came with the cord wrapped around her little neck and body. The doctors rushed her away and gave her oxygen to revive her. I cried and cried! She was so blue and motionless. She did well enough that she didn`t have to go to NICU, just Special Care. She had a low body temperature and low blood sugar. Poor little thing had to get her feet pricked and blood drawn every 3 hours. My baby girl thrived again! She is doing so well that on her 1st week checkup she gained 4 ounces and is now up to 5 pounds, 10 ounces!
