CJ-Ryanne-Hadley`s birthstory

I had my cerclage removed on monday the 20th. i started having contractions immediatly and was praying my water would break! well on tuesday night i was getting ready for bed, i lost my mucus plug, and it was huge! after that i went to go pee again and when i stood up i felt a trickle of water, and immediatly knew my water broke! but i wasn`t so sure since it stopped. i sent my mom to the L&D to pick up a stick to test to see if it was my water. she brought it home and i tested it and we were unsure of the answer. so we decided to go up to l&D then (12:30 am) to have them check and see. The nurse said, yes it was fluid, but didnt think it was my amniotic fluid, so we went home with three more tests in hand to check and see if it happened again. As soon as we went home, i got into bed and told my husband i felt like i needed to pee, ill be right back! on my way in i snuck in my purse to get another test lol. praying it would have changed, i went and peed then i stood up and another gush of fluid came out and hit the floor, so i dipped the yellow q tip looking thing in the water and YES!!! it turned dark purple...it was my water, and we loaded up and headed back to the hospital!! SOO ANXIOUS! i was already starting to hurt, and it was only 1:12 AM i was just dialated to a 3, my cervix is so thick and hard with scar tissue that it was goign to take work to get my dialated. i got some pain medication and slept off and on until 6:30 am when i was in loads of pain and asked for the epidural. The nurse said i was at a 6, around then and that we would have a baby by lunch!!! SO EXCITED. but everytime she came back every hour there was no progress. WE asked her to please stretch my scar tissue and break any bands they needed to get my cervix to open. This nurse was VERY nice and sweet, but did nothing to help me. everytime she came in we asked her to please stretch me and she would say she did, but she never did it took her like 5 seconds and she would say she did and her fingers hurt. We knew at 7:00 pm the nurse who knew how my cervix was becasue seh delivered my last baby would be there so we impatiently hung tight until she got there...then i cried and told her what all was going on. The nice nurse told me i was at a 9 and just not quite thinned out. When Sandy, the good nurse, got there she told me i was only a 7, and she stretched my cervic, worked the scar tissue, and broke really got my cervix stretched, she also said i still had a bag of water and needed to break it, so she did....then she said the babys head started coming down. they said about 2 hours and iw ould deliver her. About 10 minutes later... i noticed decels in her heart rate and FREAKED out, since thats what happened with my 16 month old son and he ended up in the nicu for a week. Sandy flipped me on my side, the anethisist continued looking for the babys heart rate with the monitor, and i just BAWLED my eyes out in sheer terror. My dr stepped and and said WHAT IS going on?! he saw and said he needed to check my dalation now. they flipped me to my back and as soon as he stuck his finger in her head was right there. she had come down so fast and was ready to be pushed out. It happened so fast again the 2nd big push her head came out and the cord was wrapped around her neck 1 time. the third push she was all the way out. took some suctioning to get her to cry but she was PERFECT!!!! :) i love her more than anything in this world. shes beautiful!!! all i ever asked for. We are all in heaven!! her brothers lover her sooo much!!!! we all can`t get enough of her! she is breastfeeding like a champ. and just as gorgeous as ever!! i can`t wait to post pictures of her beautiful self!!!
