-`s birthstory

well i was at home on the 29th... everything was normal, i was onli 36 weeks n 5 days so i thought i wasnt gonna happen 4 a while now...
i went to bretts house that night... we had a normal night... i still didnt suspect n e thing...
we went to bed at 1ish....
by 3 in the morn i woke up wit contractions... i laboured for 4 hours at his house just thinkin it wood all stop like every other time, but it just got worse and more painfull...
i said 2 brett we need to go to the hospital to c wats happenin....
so we arrived at the hospital bout 7.... and she checked me and i was 2cm dilated 70% effaced...
sooo they moved me to the labour ward. my mum came in and brett left as he had a appt that morning...
i laboured away.... lol i got to 4cm and then i asked for gas..... then i laboured to 7cm and i was in so much pain i asked for pethadene.... and that onli gav releif for a hour then my contractions were every minute and they went for a minute so i was gettin no rest in between so they suggested i get a eppidural... I HAD NO OBJECTIONS!!!! LOL
so i got a epidural and then everything was sweet!!!!
brett had finished his stuff n was bak by now... he was great!
they then broke my waters, and brett nearly puked! lol
i laboured for a while then everything took a turn for the worst, the babies heart rate was dropping and he was goin into fetal destress, so within ten minutes there was a doctor in the room tellin me he is gonna help him out with forceps! lol i was out of it so i was like yup wateva! :-)
he was born within 3 pushes (plus the help of the forceps) and he was born in like 8 minutes!
he was blue wen he came out and they put him on my chest n tried to get him to breath but he woodnt so they took him away and revived him and then they took him to the special care unit... wen the babie was born brett ran to the loo and threw up... coz he was so upset n shocked the way he came out n the fact he wasnt breathing....
while they were stiching me up they seen how distressed brett was so they took him to c baby....
wen he came back he looked alot betta! lol he was tellin me how big he was n i coodnt beleive it!
i didnt get to c baby for at least an hour... then wen i seen him he was in a incubator just layin there! he was soooo perfect!
after a while they got him out but his oxygen levels kept dropping so we had to keep an eye on him.
i feed him for the first time in the special care unit....
he stayed wit the nursed untill 2 oclock that night.... they onli brought him into me for feeds...
but at 2 i got him and ive been with my little man eva since!
I LOVE HIM SO MUCH AND HE WAS WORTH EVERY OUNCE OF PAIN I WENT THREW N AM GOING THREW!
HE IS NAMELESS AT THE MOMENT COZ HE WAS EARLY WE STILL HADNT PIKED A NAME....
