faith`s birthstory

Well i dont no where to start,, i was induced on tuesday march 18th at 8 am.. the followin 3 days i was havin the odd bh. when they induced me with the cervadil, it did nothing for me at first, so they kept me for an hour, then sent me home, i was makin no progress, they said to come back when i was havin 6 or more contractions in 10 minutes. so at 11 am they were gettin really bad. . it was all in my back. they were starting to come 2 minutes apart, so i went back up to the hospital, they put me on the monitor and they were 2 minutes apart, they checked me again and i was still 1 cm dialated from the first time they checked me. then i was complaining that something was pullin down there. well it was the cervadil, it fell out. well once that fell out, my contractions layed off for a while. i still had them but not that bad. i went for a walk around the hospital. then decided to come back to the labour/delivery room and as soon as i steped in my water broke, then noticed the baby pooped in side of me. then i was admitted to the hospital after that. the contractions got even worse after that, i couldnt sit, because it was all in my back. it hurt, and iam suprised the nurses put up with me. They checked me again around 2 pm and i was still 1 cm. i was losin all hope. i asked for something for the pain they said they couldnt give me anything for the pain, because i was not dilated enough yet. you have to be atleast 4 cm to get anything i guess or labor can stop. so then the doctor come in, and checked me, and said i was 5 cm, and i could get something for the pain.. i tryed the laughing gas, that did nothing at all for me. all it did, was make me have a hard time breathin, so they had me on air instead, i asked for an epidural, it took a while because they had to small of a needle and 6 pokes later and 10 minutes for it to kick in, i was in heaven. when they were giving me the epidural, i was complaining i had to push, after they gave me that, they checked me and i was 10 cm dialted, they figure the reason why i dialted so fast was because i was on the side of the bed.. then i had to wait about 2 hours for the doctor to come back so i could push. less then 1 hour of pushing and i had her at 9:12 pm. i tore a bit, got to stitchs out of the deal, and was bleedin so bad they had me take 4 or 5 medications for it, and then finally slowed down. it was an exprience. the epidural is heaven tho :)
