On Sept 4, i noticed that i was leaking, but the liquid was a cloudy white color so i just thought it was secreation. I ignored it the whole day. Around 11pm or so i started to get dizzy and nausea. I started to think that maybe i was getting an infection. Suddenly it leaves, and all of a sudden i got a hot sensation on my lower back pain and gradually moved towards the front, they where maybe about 30 mins apart. I just thought it was false labor, so i went to sleep, but at 3:21am i woke up with a more intense pain, but now were 8 mins apart. I knew that something was going on, but i was not getting excited yet. At around 5am they were 5 mins apart and by 6 every 3 mins. Got to the hospital, and in deed my water was leaking. I was in active labor. Got hooked up to all types of monitors, got started on Pitocin. By 1pm i was 5cm, 4pm 7cm. At this time, i have no pain medication at all. The pain is something that i will never feel again. By 8pm i'm at 8cm the nurse came in and finish breaking my water. What a relief, but second later the pain because terrible. I was shaking of how bad the pain was, it was back to back i didnt have a break at all. I couldnt do it. I had to get the Epi. (I know most of you are like but your 8cm, but the nurse got in trouble for giving it to me after 6cm) But i'm glad that she did. As soon as i got the epidural I dialted to 10cm. I was so numb, that i didnt have control of anything. I started to push and when the baby started crowing thats when the doctor walked in and took over. Once i saw my baby head and the rest of his body come out, i started to cry, i could not believe that i was a mom and that i had brought a life into this world. I cried like a baby, the baby and i were crying together lol.... It is the most amazing feeling in the world. I would go through it again if i had to.
