Presley Rose birthstory
Water broke at 0830 in the morning. Went to obstetrical triage. They induced me at 6:00 p.m. Began to have very strong contractions. Recieved morphine (did nothing) Recieved an epidural (did nothing) They told me my pain level was too high for the epidural to keep up to it, and that is why it never worked. Found my best friend MR. Nitrous Oxide and made it to fully at 0320 in the morning. Pushed for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Had an episiotomy. Was in so much pain I didn`t even realize they had cut me until they started to stitch me up. When they placed her on my stomach it was an unbeleivable feeling like no one can ever explain! I am madly in love with her! and would do it all over again.

Chloe-Therese-`s birthstory
I had to have a c-section as baby was breech. We knew for quite some time that she was breech. I was 37 weeks 2 days pregnant and my husband and I decided to see if we could bring labour on by doing the deed seeing that she was now term. This was at 8:30 in the morning! By 9:30 I started to have contractions every 15-20 minutes! We waited for quite some time before going in to the hospital because I really wanted to make sure that this was it, and not have them send us home. We dropped my daughter off at my mom and dad`s at 12:00 and then headed into winnipeg. By then my contractions were about every 10-12 minutes. By the time we got to the hospital they were every 7 minutes apart. At 2:00 they checked me and I was three centimeters dilated! But here`s the kicker....... they felt her foot! Her foot was literally in my cervix and all that was holding it in was that my water had not yet broken yet. They knew the baby was breech, but they weren`t expecting this! I was told to stay in bed and if my water broke to call them immediately and I would be rushed to the O.R. I was the next in line but there was a lady having twins delivered by c-section and I had to wait for her. They brought me down at 5:00 and by then my contractions were every 3-5 minutes and were quite strong! She was delivered at 5:42 and is healthy and beautiful!!!
We named her Chloe Therese. Therese is after my grandmother who passed away in May of this year. I was five weeks pregnant when she passed away. She didn`t know I was pregnant. We decided not to tell her as she had mentioned so many times that she was so sad to leave her great-grandchildren behind and we didn`t want to make her sad knowing that she would not be here to see this baby.
I am recovering very well by c-section. Not as bad as I thought it would be. My stomach looks hideous but it is all worth it! At least I didn`t get anymore stretchmarks! I always say `my first daughter gave me a road map on my stomach, and my second daughter paved the first highway!`
Life is great!
