My original due date was 8-7-08, but since that day came and i was still pregnant, i decided to go for LONG walks, a pedicure, and some more walking! the day before my due date i was only 1 cm dilated. on my due date i started getting contractions that night but since they werent too painful i waited for them to get stronger...at about 2am i called the hospital and decided t o go in, but they told me if i wasnt in labor they would send me back home! i thought they would, but when they checked me at about 3am i was already 5cm dilated!!! wasnt 2 painful though so i didnt get the epidural, instead i took sleeping medication, and slept for about 2 hours.....when i woke up, i asked for the epidural, but the nurse took sooooooo long to come back that i was 9cm dilated when she came back with the midwife....it was 2 late for epidual so i just had to push!!! sooooo painful...i pushed for almost an hour!!! i watched it through the mirror..it was amazing!! it burned so bad, but she fianlly came out on 8--8-08 at 8:54 am weighing 9lb 8oz....no wonder it was soo painful!!! she was huge!!lol but she was worth it!!! im still sore down there! i thought the pain would be over once she came out!!! but i could barely walk with my legs closed cuz i was so sore. i got 4 stitches which sting soo bad! well 2 days later i brought my princess home, and i must say i have a little cry baby!!! but hopefully as she gets bigger she`ll be able to sleep throughout the night! well thats all! good luck everyone!
