Biggest achievement so far:
She started walking perfectly at 8 1/2 months.

Calli was born on her due date, Jan 14, 2008, at 11:15 am at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. She was 5lbs 11oz and 18 inches long.
I started having contractions at 5am on Jan 12. By 11pm that night they were 5 minutes apart and were unbearable. We went to the hospital and told me I was only 80% effaced and not dilated at all. So we went home. I couldnt sleep due to the contractions being so close together. They died down by 5 am the next morning but were back to being 5 minutes apart at 12pm. Come 11pm we went back to the hospital, me hysterically crying and finally they let me stay... they didnt admit me. They just said they were going to give me some pain meds to help then send me home since i was only 2cm dilated and 80 % effaced. Well after the morphine I went str8 to 4 cm and an hour so I got to stay. They then gave me my epidural and broke my water. By 11am monday morning they told me I was ready to push. After 20 minutes of pushing( my contractions never got closer than 5 minutes apart) she was here. Everyone thought she was a Preemie, but that was impossible. She was absolutely perfect! The only downside to all of this was we were in California and our entire family was back on the East Coast. It would have been great if our family could have been there to share this amazing memory with us.

Birth details

Original due date: october 5
Type of delivery: Vaginal (with pain relief)
Duration of labor: 30 hrs
Weight @ birth: 7lbs
Length @ birth: 19in

I went into labor after a membrane sweep on Oct 1. Contractions started at 8 mins apart around 1pm and went to 5 mins at 11pm that night. We went to thehospital, but they said my contractions were too irregular and to walk around for 2 hours. We went home and then came back only to find my cervix hadn't changed, but the contractions were 5 mins a part. I was so upset I cried so hard. They stayed 5 mins apart all night nd finally at 1130am on the 2nd we went back and I was 5 cm and thankfully got admitted. I received some pain relief before my epidural. Everything was going great until my epidural messed up and needed to be adjusted. Things went back to being numb only to quit as soon as I hit 10cm. My biggest fear. It hadnt ran out it was just messing up. I had to do about 20 pushes before the anesthesiologist came in to see what was wrong. 5 very long and painful minutes later I was back to being pain free and Caden was born about 10 minutes later. I have never cried so hard in my life and am so thankful I had such an amazing nurse and husband to help me.
