well my water broke at 2 in the morning i stayed home having contractions until around 4 we arrived at the er at 4:30a.m. the midwife tested my cervics and yep my water was broke and i had dialated to 2 cm. well me and daddy sat in the emergency room having contractions and throwing up dear life at around 5 5:30 a.m. we were admitted to room 231 the contractions came more and worse i began to dialate more when my nurse checked my cervics again i was at 5cm so my mom and sister went to get food as they called everyone i begged for some pain medecine but the way i was moving i could only get medecine in my iv so i did and i think that made my labor go faster well mommy here i come so around 7 when my mom and sister returned i had the urge to push and they said no but i did anyway i was 9.5 cm they were afraid i would tear so i had to only push with contractions the first push i screamed for dear life they told me holding in my breath would help so with the next contraction and push i held my breath my baby began to crown and i felt his head i pushed again and got his head out i could see his face as the nurse suction his mouth i pushed out his sholders and the nurse pulled the rest of him out and there he was at 7:20a.m. on Jan. 29 what a BIG relief. its amazing how something so little could cause 9 months of hell but in the end when you see the face of your child you have the feeling that it was all worth it.
