Koby-Graham-Wood`s birthstory

I was induced. Got oxytocin drip at 11pm on 18th, started having contractions about 2 in the morning, the midwife said it would take approx 4 hours for the drip to `prepare` my cervix to dilate so I wasnt expecting to hear that I was 7cm dialated when she checked me at 05:20 . By 06:30 I was 10cm dialated and started pushing. Koby`s heartbeat was dropping when I was pushing so I was given an episiotomy (didn`t feel a thing) and he was born at 06:48 after one final push!!!! His left arm didn`t have any movement when he was born because the cord was wrapped round it and he was taken straight to special care unit but he was back in an hour as fit as a fiddle!!!! Labour wasn`t half as bad I was expecting, the worst thing I feared was an episiotomy and stitches but I didn`t feel a thing when it was done and the I didn`t feel any pain when I was getting stitches because they gave me a local anasthetic and the good old gas and air to suck on! The only form of pain relief I had was gas and air and it was great!!!!! xxxx
