Elijah-Nicholas`s birthstory

I got induced on thursday the 3rd of january at 7pm.Had really uncomfortable contractions pretty much straight away and on top of each other all night. I didn`t get any sleep until 7am friday morning.However the doctors woke me up at 8am to break my waters. After that i had a shower and and barely got through eating a light breakfast when i started having really painful contractions and had the urge to start pushing already.
Midwife was concerned that i wasn`t getting anywhere but still really pushing. Doctor came in and i couldn`t take my eyes off him.I was scared shitless not knowing what he was gonna do. He ended up using the forceps.I can laugh about that story now,but at the time it wasn`t nice.I won`t go into the details.
Then Elijah came into the world at 11.33 am. I just bawled my eyes out crying and asking if he was ok. they said he was perfect.
However on the sunday when we were due to go home he had 3 seizures.They flew him to the melbourne hospital.He had another seizure when he arrived there. They did so many tests and things on him and they showed that my little man had had a stroke.
He spent nine days in there. he`s doing great and doing all the normal baby things,so i know he will be ok. He is so beautiful.
