So on Sunday the 8th I was having some good contractions all day. They wernt painful but they were starting to get stronger and closer together. By 8:30 pm they were starting to get pretty bad and hurting. I mean nothing that I couldnt handle but they were uncomfortable. I tried to stay home as long as i could cause I wanted to be in the hospital least amount of time as possible! So i waited untill 11:30 pm and then told my hubby and mom, ok I cant take it anymore lets go!!! Got to the hospital mintues later and they were all ready for me. Just within the time from home to the hospital (3 mins) the contractions got way worse! I was having major back labor. DAMN that hurts. So they checked me and said that I was 3cm. I was surprised! At that point i said ok bring on the epi! So not untill 12:30 did I get it. In that time (1 hour) felt like forever! My hubby and mom were just like only one more contraction before you wont have to feel it anymore. They were so good to me. Ok so i was so very scared to get the epi but I didnt even feel a thing! It was the most amazing thing after it started to kick in!! At about 1:00 am I was starting to feel GREAT!! They said to get some rest. So me and my hubby slept untill about 6:00 am. Thank god for that. So at that point they said I was 9 1/2 cm and I was going to start pushing soon! I was like omg its finally time. SOOOO scared. So 7:45 rolls around and Im just starting to push. And it felt good cause there was a whole lotta pressure! LOL Next thing I know its almost 9 am!! Ok thats alot of pushing for a small girl like me! I was soo tired. So the doc said that I could push for 30 more mins or i could get assistance from the vacum. He said that there was a slight chance that it could cause bleedding to the head and he could die. I was like omg!!! At that point I just looked at my husband like what do we do? My mom asked the doctor if this was your kid would you do it?!! He said yes. And then I said lets just do it and get him here safe!!! So we did and 33 mins later I had my beautiful baby boy on my chest!!! I cried soooo hard!! It was the most amazing thing ever. Even though his head came out sideways and tore the crap out of me! =( I had to get stiched for 1 hour!! Damn I was in pain. Had to stay in the hospital for 2 days!! That was so hard, just wanted to get home. But I couldnt even get out bed untill the second day! But it was all well worth it. Cant say that I would do it again soon but yeah maybe someday. I really want to have a little girl!
