It all started 10 minutes after falling asleep, I awoke to a pop..gush. I then realized my water must had broken. I told my boyfriend who told me I was wrong and go back to bed. I had to convince him that I was serious LOL ( he had been sick all day and started school the next day) The midwives were very worried that my water broke before going into natural labor because the infection risk. Within 5 hours I dialated 3cen and 90% effaced...but stayed that way till the following afternoon. I went for the pictocin and boy did that get my labor going( only after really upping my dosage and doing a full membrane sweep) My goal was to go natural but after the last couple of hours really floured me and I yelled and totally begged the nurses to give me something to take the edge off..I wanted a break soo badly.. then they checked me and I was ready to push so there was no need! I actually found the pushing to be somewhat pleaserable, satisfying. I had no idea the sex of my baby and no one called it out so I had to look for myself ( I as told it was70% chance boy ) but they were dead wrong! I had my little girl
