Julian`s birthstory

Friday the 20th i went to bed at arround 3:00am like every night for the past month, i felt perfectly fine, but had started noticing some light yellow moucousy discharge when i went to the bathroom during the night, but nothing alarming since i had an increase in discharge for a couple of weeks, woke up Saturday at arround 2 pm feeling the same as always, but for some odd reason my mom was acting kind of weird and said she didnt like me to be alone anymore since i was getting closer to the due date and because my doctor told me that i was 3 cm dialated at my Wed. appointment, my husband had to go help do some moving for a business so was going to be gone until arround 6pm, my mom said she was going to have my aunt come by and keep me company until 6. I really didnt want to have anyone over so i told her that i really didnt need anyone with me and that i just wanted to relax, but she went behind my back and called her anyways without telling me, so arround 4 pm i was getting in the shower and decided to shave just in case i went into labor in the next couple of days and in the middle of shaving my aunt shows up so i had to stop the shaving half way through so that my aunt wouldnt have to wait for me, since i take really long showers. We were just talking and watching t.v. and at arround 5:30 i decided to get up off the couch to show my aunt my sister in laws wedding invitation when i felt a little gush of fluid like if i just had my period. And for a second there i thought i had just peed myself, and ran to the bathroom and then i just got a few more gushes but they were alot bigger, so i ran to the living room and told my aunt that i was going to get in the shower really quick (I really had to finish the shaving job i had started) and that i thought my water had broken, i called my husband and told him and he said he would be home in 10 min, so i got in the shower and put a pad on and headed to the hospital, with no contractions, i was pretty exited and a little nervous, i got the hospital and they gave me petocin to start my contractions and soon enough i wanted to get the epidural, but instead they gave me something else that did not take the pain away, it just made me feel drunk and dizzy, and soon i got my epidural i was feeling good until arround 7:00 am on Sunday when i started to feel pain on my left side and soon i was feeling the contractions on my left side so i called the nurce and i told her that i thought there was something wrong with the epidural and she decided she would check me to see how dilated i was before calling anestesiology and she then said forget anestisiology you are 10 cm and you need to start pushing now, so they started setting up the room with all the bright lights and the tool table and i grabbed my cell and called my mom started yelling at my husband to wake up since he had fallen asleep on the couch, 15 minutes later my mom and my sister show up and the painful pushing starts, after an hour of pushing i was exhausted and ready to give up my little one was pushing up against my lungs so i couldnt take a full breath and then finally i heard the doctor say one more push and he will be out... And little Julian F. Leon came into this world at 8:36 am wheighing 6 lbs. 11 oz. 19.75 in. long and then i knew the ture meaning of unconditional love!
