Sorry it took me so long ladies I know yall was wondering why I got M.I.A. I been trying to post this for days now so I’ll get on w it!

Well after my doc appt. that morning I was really thinking I would have to be induced but baby girl had other plans I guess. That same day my sister called and said she had been having sympathy pains and contracting all day and then my poor niece who lives with us texted me from school and said she had been throwing up all day! lol (poor them right?!) I was not feeling anything but packed my hospital bag just in case. That night I did some squats and standing knee touches and then went to bed. That night @ 2:27 am as I was adjusting my pillows I felt a wet spot in the bed and went to wipe it and then checked myself and I was wet too. It was late and my first thoughts were I would not pee on myself...would I? I got up to go wash and Gusssshhh the flood gates had opened! Ahhh… MY WATER BROKE…finally so I went to knock on my parents door still dripping...no answer...so I go grab my cell phone and call the house...lol My momma answered all calm and I’m like Momma, I think my water broke! She’s like what?! I hang up thinking she’s coming to see about me...she still on the cell phone trying to ask me questions!!! lol (Like I said it was late!) She finally comes in my room looks at the fluid and says yep, let me go get ready. I wanted to take a shower but momma was like, “you aint got time for that the baby could drop out in there! So I wash up, put my clothes on, and take some pics..lol cause I was not having any pains! We leave and arrive at the hospital at exactly 3:30am I WALKED IN and was admitted to Triage I was still 3cm but 80% effaced so they monitored me for a bit and then sent me to my LDR. I get my IV in and the antibiotics going since I was positive for group B strep! At 4:40am they started the pitocin and I was fine just watching tv and laughing. At 6:25 I had progressed to 4cm and was still chillin’ doing fine. My nurse was like you strong girl!, you sure u don’t want anything for pain? I was like No, I’m good right now! I was trying to hold out till 6cm to get the epidural ladies! At 7:00 I had progressed to 5cm! My nurse was like I can’t believe your only 5cm cause I can feel the baby’s head!!!

It was around this time my doc came in and said he was on his way back to the office and Dr. Strickland would be delivering my baby!

*sidebar thinking to myself* THE HELL HE WILL! I had never met that man before in my life! I was so pissed!!!!

He goes on to say if you deliver in the next 30 minutes I'll be here but i seriously doubt it since your only 5cm now but i'll check you b4 I leave and he goes out the door. It was then I had the mother of all contractions probably the only real pain I’ve had so far and all I could say was...SHE’S COMING THROUGH MY BUTT!!...SHE’S COMING THROUGH MY BUTT!!! My sister was like what?! I’m gonna call the nurse! The nurse comes in and now I REALLY want the epidural and she says the guy who does the epi’s is helping out with a c-section right now so try to breathe through it. I’m breathing, counting, saying my ABCs in my head and that crap was not working at all! My nurse was like I know you are not fully dialated cause I just checked you but if u want me too, I will. She checks me and her jaw dropped open she said YOUR THERE! YOUR FULLY DIALATED!!! I’m gonna go get the doctor! She leaves and comes back and low and behold in walks my doctor yayyyy...by this time the stuff comes down out the ceiling and the stirrups go up and I’m like can I get the epidural now? My nurse was like I’m afraid not, but you can do this! My doctor then says your gonna have to, you have no choice your already there now. I look at him and say "I bet its gonna hurt like hell!" He goes No, feel my finger touch she is already crowning, its gonna be a piece of cake just listen to me and you will be fine. I go lets do it! My first push was BS cause I did not know how, I just screamed and did not push at all not because of pain but because thats how they did it on the TLC channel...lol My doc was like that aint gonna get it...look at me I want you to grip the back of your knees, tuck your chin to your chest, and grunt like your having a BM….COME ON, ASHLEY! So I’m like oh! thats all...so I did just that and he’s like That's what I’m talking bout…give me two more just like that! Only four pushes and out she popped at 7:40am! I saw her face right when she did too! I probably would of missed it if my sister did not say Look, Ashley! lol They wisk her away and I delivered the placenta shortly after and I get stitched up. Only 3 stitches for precaution I did not tear much. Then I held her for the first time and it felt kind of weird like a lil' wiggly thing in a blanket and then she looked at me and I fell in love!!! About 20 minutes later I was up walking around and back to taking pics!!! lol I did not receive any medication before, during, or after! I never would of thought I would go natural but like they say NEVER SAY NEVER!!! She is the best baby and sooo cute! I love her to death and I’m sooo glad she is finally here!
