thursday morning i was having alot of abdominal pain and was reluctant to go to the hospital just to have them send me home an hr later, and being the fact that i was already 4 days overdue it was frustrating enough. so i called tele-health instead and the nurse told me to go in anyways just to be looked at., so i went and i was one cm but i had to be 4 or more to be admitted so she had mae walk around for an hour to see if it would change. my luck no change so i got sent home. me and my fiance grabbed some food and headed back home. around 7 i got a really bad headache so i took a tylenol and laid down. at 8:45 pm that night my water broke so off to the hospital we were again they kept me over night and started my pitocin at 11am on fri morning, me wanting t go all natural was not going to happen due the fact that my contractions were coming one on top of another for 4 hrs and i was just to exhausted to go on. i caved and opted for the epidural. at 2:30 i was 3 cm and stayed there til she checked me again at 8 and i was 8cm! i was completely shocked bec i didn`t think i progressed that far. she than checked me again at 10 and i was ready to push i didn`t have the urge to push right away and it took the doctor 25 minutes to get there anyways, so i waited for him once he came in i started to push. i push her out in 18 minutes and my baby maya was born!! couldn`t be any happier :)
