Birthstory

Hello Ladies, (this is kind of long)

First I would like to say that I feel like I`m the most blessed person in the world, OMG! I am so in Love with my son it`s not even real.
Well Ladies my pains started on Monday (06/22/09) around 10am that morning, so I cleaned up my house and organized my baby room from top to bottom, we have a LARGE staircase in our home (18 stairs straight up) and I noticed that I kept going UP and DOWN the stairs just in doing house work so I sat down in my babies rocker and LORD once I sat down I felt my first REAL contraction but it didn`t last too long at all so I just brushed it off my shoulder as I went to get up I felt another one which lasted A LONG time maybe 5 mins. I never once thought I was about to go in labor so I went to take a hot bath (which i know I`m not suppose to do) but sometimes my body needs a soaking and that day was just one of those days. Once I got out the tub the pain began to COME! They started out at 30 mins apart, And new mommies let me tell you ALL WOMEN BODIES AND CONTRACTIONS are different ALL my contractions lasted between 3-5 mins more towards the 5mins. I called my husband and he told me that he didnt think I was in labor and that it was all just in my mind because he knew how bad I wanted to just have my little man because I was tired of being pregnant. The pain got worst and worst it felt like I had A LOT of gas in my side that wouldn`t move (like a dull feeling), I emailed a few of my close friends who had been in labor before and got their advice, but about 730 I was like OH NO lets go! So me and DH went to the ER, when I got there I was 1 FREAKING CM all of that pain I was in and I was only 1CM so the nurse told me that she would check me in 3hrs and see how I have progressed but more than likely I would be going back home, I started PRAYING like crazy, she came back in to check me and she said I was at 3CM,, I was like `YES` (may I add the nurse was a REAL B**CH) I was put in a L&D room and the pain was getting worst,, They checked me again 4 hours later after being hooked up to the monitor and I was only 5CM so the nurse tried to convince me that since this was my first child I should get pain meds. even if it was just through my IV ( I wasn`t having it) I wanted a natural birth and a natural birth was what I got. The pain was SOOOOO bad and ladies if you dont have any pain meds each time a doctor or nurse dig inside of your to see how much you`ve dilated you FEEL every bit of it! LONG story short I stayed in pain All night and morning until 11:56 the pain got sooo bad my hubby ran to get the nurse and she checked me and said let`s go we are going to have the baby now you`re 10CM she told me to wait she had to call the doctor but I was in REAL pain and pressure was coming so I pushed my little man out myself, my husband screamed out loud as I ever heard ANYONE scream `HOLY SHIT!!!! OUR BABY IS HALF WAY OUT` I didnt even know he was half way out I was just pushing through the pressure so the nurse came and sat on the bed and rolled her eyes at me like `Bitch didn`t I just tell your ass to wait` and I rolled my eyes at her and started pushing more! My baby boy came out and I didn`t TEAR AT ALL!!! I am so blessed!!!! So I basically delivered my son myself because when the doctor got there my little man was here!
