Zayden`s birthstory

Ok so on the 14th I was complaining about my tree trunk legs and went to L& D to make sure no toxemia I was cleared and told that I was having good steady contraction and to come back if they are very hard to handle, so when I got home I was complaining on week40 about my legs and talking about the contractions and how they left shortly after.. Around 12-1 am I fell asleep on couch and just decided to stay because it was to hard to walk up the stairs, around 5 30 I woke up and was just watching Adult Swim(cartoons lol) and heard DH alarm go off he didn’t get up so I got up and yelled “Darrell get up and turn the alarm off” shortly after that he was about to leave for work and I closed my eyes as I sat on couch and had what was a gas pain and I swear I heard this loud pop from within, my eyes got wide and I stood up with water coming down, I yelled “Darrell my water broke get me a towel” lol he ran up from the basement and just looked at me, im like ”listen, get me a towel everything will be fine” He was just in shock for like a few seconds and couldn’t move. I wasn’t poring down water so I made it up stairs and put on my black Capri pants and was getting stuff...OMG water just started to pour like a fountain I was like LETS GO... On way to hospital I felt fine and was just calm I didn’t have any contractions but when we got like 5 mins away I had a big and real contraction in car and water was just shooting up it seemed I got scared and didn’t know what to do (good thing I was sitting on 3 towels)….I got to L& D I was 2-3cm, got to my room after a good 20min and got changed, I started to get more contractions but was doing well with my Lamaze breathing which was shocking. When I got to 4cm I was in so much pain but waited out on Epi and by this time they gave me potocin.. I was so cranky and when a contraction came I was plugging my ears lol So when I got checked again I was 5cm and 100% but I stayed like this for a long time, when I contracted baby was trying to dip down but nothing was happening, he wasn’t in distressed so doc waited another hour, I was crying and pissed because I felt I couldn’t deliver him and nothing was wrong with him inside it was all me. So after an hour I got a C-section, he was born at 8:15pm on 8-15-08 and come to find out that because he was so active during the labor he had some cord around neck and coulnd move down so it's like my body just didn’t allow anymore dilating. I call that a miracle cause if he was allowed to come down it would have been worse and I would have had emergency c-sec anyway. Even though my doctor said I should try VBAC if I have more children because I do dilate, that part isn’t important to me. I feel very blessed and im very very lucky for this experience. I cry when I look at him, he is so beautiful and he has very define features already which is amazing, This boy can lift his head and turn it already my gosh it’s like he is skipping his infant time..
