well where do i start .... okay on saturday i was resting waiting for labor to start so i can meet my little man. at about 8pm made dinner for my daughter. At about 945 im in the process of getting my daughter ready for bed and calling my husband to see if he was on his way from playing basketball. i get no answer. so i figure i try and call back later. ( he hates cell phones so turns volume down alot of times). after i get daughter straight and turn on a mobie for her to watch. i go to the bathroom. while i am on the toilet peeing i like this is wiered because only a little is coming out at a time. i didnt think anything of it as i am able to start an stop so cant be my water breaking.... well i get up after a while and a soon as i do this fluid runs down my leg! then i get this big gush. now that tells me it definatly broke! i try and call my husband again as he is 30 min away. again no answer. at this point i am panicking asthe hospital is 30 min. away. so i call everyone in his family to see if they know where he is. nothing! at this point i am crying and my 4 year old daughter comes in the room and is like dont cry mommy just breath. lol she is a character that made me laugh so i am calm again and just call the ambulance. they come in like 2 min by this time it is 1015 no contractions . i get a call from husbands grandmother and she says his dad is going to meet me at the hospital and still no word on my husband. as we are on the way to the hospital and almost there after being on the road for about 20 min i see this car beind the ambulance following us. i
like maybe is my husband. as soon as we get out i notice is bis dad they just so happen to get on the freeway as we were passing by lol. at about 1:00 finally we get in touch with my husband. this man had the ringer off on the phone and the car had broke down! when he gets to the hospital after speeding he tells me about how he had told this guy that he needed a jump because his wife was in labor....( now this happens before he even found out i was in the hospital so he jinxed me!). well it is now 2:00 still no contractions they say we need to give u patocin im like give me epidural before that because i know pain will be hard . so 10 min after they left room contractions start and i have them the wholetime while they doing epidural. they finish at 3:00 and then at about 3:15 and they check me i am 5cm. so they go to get patocin and come back at about 345 and i am complete woo hoo no patocin! dr comes to room i push 3 times and my beautiful baby boy is here at 357. he is so beautiful i love him so much and would do it all over again.

Ashawna`s birthstory

So on Friday morning I woke up at 330 am like normal to go to work. Everything seemed like normal so I continued with my day. By the time I got to work I started having little contractions that came and went. I wasn`t reall stressing them too much because they were inconsistant and not very painfull. Well about 10 am the contractions were getting stronger (not to painful so thinking was false contractions) plus they were coming once every 20 min then stop then back again. Well I have my husband meet me after work instead of riding bus ( I try to be green!!! And saves $) by then it is abou 630 pm we went to get last min baby stuff and came home made kids dinner and I went to bed in the meantime I have no contractions so I`m sure I was right was false labor. Well I was wrong cause at 1155 I was woke up from my sleep with a really strong contraction. So I sat and timed them for about an hr. They started coming back to back so I went to hospital. When I got there I was 6 cm at 2am . At about 4 I was still 6 so I got epidural. At about 740 they checkedme again still 6 am baby face up so they tried to make her turn dr said b back in 15 min. As soon as she walked out I felt a lot of pressure and said it felt like I needed to push nurse said it felt that way because of howshe was possitoined. Another nurse came in and said just check really quick. Low and behold I was10. They started running around like hurry get the dr. Good thing she was right outside the room. She barely had enough time to even put gloves on before my daughter pushed her own way into the world
