well thursday 3/14 i had a drs appointment at 8 am i was still at 1cm, i was feeling fine no contractions at all at about 5:30 that evening i was getting hair done and felt a gush of fluid when i went tothe bathroom, so i went to hospital, they checked me and said thats just the gel from my exam early, so i thought nothing of it but before they sent me home i told the nurse i was spotting and still fill like fluid was leaking she said not to worry it was because they had just checked me. so in my way home i had bad cramps and still spotting, but little did i no the cramps were contractions, so i went home hurting and spotting, woke up during the night because cramps were killing me, at about 7:30am got up bleeding alot so dr told me to come in right a way, got there and was told that my water had broke and i was being admitted, got there about 9:00am they gave me an epidural, so i felt nothing until about 2:00 am i started to feel contractions and was at 9 cm. i stayed there for a while b/c there was a small piece of cervix still there, but i coulnd take the pain i guess epidural wasnt working or they stoped giving it to me. but the dr moved the piece of cervix with his hand. so i started to push i pushed about 30 times ( 30 counts of 10 seconds) and baby boy was out. i wasnt even tired exausted or anything, just happy to have had a healthy baby boy
