A.-K.-Munholand`s birthstory

I was induced cause they said she was going to be big. I went in at 6am and was 2cm dialated and 70% effaced. I walked the halls with my petocin drip and then the contractions got stronger and i sat on the birthing ball. Then i sat on a bean shaped one as my husband massaged me and we breathed through my contractions together. I was given an epidural at 10 cm dialated and was loving life. I did get nauseated and throw up two different times during labor. They aloso had to stop the petocin to let the baby rest for an hour as i had an oxygen mask on because the baby`s heart rate went really high and then dropped really low. After her heart rate staying stable for an hour they started the petosin again and almost immediately I called the nurse cause I felt like I needed to push. Sure enough the baby was ready and in a short time she was born...I watched with a mirror and my husband helped deliver her. After her head was out he pulled the rest of her out...it was an amazing experience and a way easier birth than my first childs (no pain medication) birth. I never knew thark hair and at giving birth could be so easy. She is so beautiful! Dark hair and the sweetest little face! I am in love and cant believe how quickly I have bonded with her!!!
