Travis-Mako`s birthstory

My water broke around 11:30 pm as the hubby and I were watching 27 dresses (cute movie) luckily, I was standing up from the couch so it was not nearly as messy as it could have been. I went into triage around 12:00 am and was there with contractions 3 mins apart before being moved to the delivery room at 1:00 am there I recieved a walking epidural.. I was 2 cm and 80-90% effaced up until 7:30 am when Pitocin was started. 9:00 am brought the wonderful news that I was 4/5 cm dilated and in much more pain so I had my epidural changed to a complete epidural and quickly changed to 7/8 cm dilated and 100% effaced. At 2:00 pm I was 10 cm dilated and began pushing. An hour and a half later at 3:29 pm Travis Mako was born a whole 7lbs and 13 ounces, 21 inches long. He is the most beautiful baby I have ever seen. My husband and I are so proud!
