Carter-Robert`s birthstory

Went to bed Monday night the 23rd and woke up to go to the bathroom and felt a bit of water running out. Being my first baby I was not sure if my water had broke or not as it was not a huge gush. So I decided it was better to be safe and go to the hospital to be checked out. Sure enough my water had broke and I was 1-2 cm dilated and 70% effaced. They decided they were going to keep me. After moving to labor and delivery they checked me a fe hours later and I was only at a 2 so they decided to give me pitocin. The contractions finally started to kick in and oh boy... I decided an epidural was needed very soon. I was at 3 cm for most of the day and wasn`t moving anywhere. So the doctor actually stretched me to a 4. 3 hours later I was at a 9 and ready to push. I pushed for 30 minutes an little Carter was here. It was the best day ever!
