she's our ANGEL !

I got pregnant just after our honeymoon, that really had people in our strick religon and family talking they swore I got married becasue I was pregnant but that was not the case, although we did break the rule and lost our virginity to each other months before we got married I wasn't pregnant and infact I started my period the second day of our honeymoon!!!

We where young and scared but none the less happy to be pregnant and started buying stuff right away, I started cramping late one afternoon in September I was 10 weeks pregnant, then i started bleeding and went ot the ER, I was misscarring there was nothing that could be done , we both cried.

we always felt it was a girl and we named her Dixie Storm.

Blake nows about her and we have told him that she is his angel.

Blake is a very active 4 year old, who happens to be a carbon copy of his father! He loves super hero's , and hates bugs!! His favorite hobby is inline skating which he does a few times a week. He is very excited to become a big brother and is helping us get things realy. Blake started Preschool this year and is head and shoulders above all of his classmates, so he's a big boy but hey he came into this world that way (8lbs. 14oz.)

HERE IS BLAKE'S BIRTH STORY:

I got Pregnant with blake after A miscarriage in 2000 and unsucessful attempts to get pregnant until we took our 2 year aniversary trip to Orlando Florida , I came home PREGNANT, but didn't find out until I was 3 months along , since my periods where on time and very much normal, I went to the ob/gyn for a UTI and they routinely did a pregnancy test I was scared to death , yet the happiest women in the world! I had gestational diabetes with him and pre-E , my blood pressure was really high when I was about 36 weeks, at 38 weeks I went to my mom's ob appointment ( she was also pregnant) and asked for the results to my 24 hour urine test..from here they took me straight up to labor and delivery, my water broke as soon as I got up there before they started the induction med's ( I think I got worked up and scared and put myself into labor)He was born via C-section after 13 hours of active labor with no progress, and fetal distress. it all happened so fast and I felt so out of control and disappointed htat I couldn't have him natural.

I was heavily medicated during the C-section, they didn't give me a spinal instead they give me more of the edipidural med. , and had to have oxygen tubes at my nose "so I could feel myself breathing" WTF? I was so spaced out I remember opening my eyes but I couldn't focus very well so they would spin the room and close again , I was so scared... I tried to focus on my husbands face but couldn't very well, I was listening to the doctor work... THE LIGHTS WENT OUT!! it was storming outside ! that was freaky! after what seemed to be forever I felt two people pushing up on me body near my pubic bone Blake was stuck in my pelvis with his head turned sideways!! they had to use a vacuum ...about the time the epidural started to wear off... I was maoning and in pain. they I heard we have a baby 1:44am ...is it a boy? and is he alright? is all I would get out my husband said yeah but I was worried because I didn't hear my baby crying and I couldn't see anything. my husband left then said he was going with Blake and would see me after recovery...

I was still scared to death , afraid to fall asleep...I kept my eyes open all the way to the recovery room. then I rested...and hour later I woke up paniced, where's my baby? is he ok? can I see him? they told me he was fine adn I had to wait until I wasn't numb to be moved back to my room, I remember smacking a nurse as she pressed on my very tender belly, and I remember looking at my blood pressure which was 190/90! they took me back to my room an hour later. and told me to rest ...they wanted my blood presure lower, I lay there and watched my husbnad and mom sleep on the couch near me as I lay there so angry that I couldn't see my baby!

2 hours later a nurse found a camara and brought me a picture of Blake and I started to cry... finally 10:30 am they brought him into my room and I got to hold him for the first time. they said he was dehydrated and had to be given alot of fluid. it wasn't until this pregnancy when I asked why that I found out ..they had such a hard time getting him out they had to use a vaccum and it took a long time his cord was wrapped around his neck and blood and fluid begain to flow from him back into the placenta since delivery took so long. he had to be give oxygen and then fluid. guess he's really lucky to be hear and I'm luck to have him!

Payton Blaine Sex: boy Born: 23 November, 2007 Age: 4 years & 85 days Birthday in: 280 days Starsign: Sagittarius Development: See the 32 months page. Biggest achievement so far: Payton is a very active 10 month old . he is crawling and walking around things... just not ready to take those first steps yet ... he has a great personality and has alot of fun playing with his brother

I had a scehduled C-section so I got to the hospital at 6am .. and they took blood and monitored hte baby for a while then around 8am I WALKED back to the OR and recieved my Spinal by the time they where done and I was told to lay down on the bed my feet where already numb!! Payton was still really active at that point!
I started to shake... it was really cold in there and I was a little nervous this was happening... what if`s where flooding my head I was afraid something was going to go wrong ..what if he wasn`t helathy, what if there was a complication during the birth??
they put up the blue curtain and I talked to a male nurse as they begain cutting me open....
Iw as feeling some pressure in my cheast ...the spinal was working too well..they propt me up a little since my cheast was numb and I didn`t like that feeling ..like i couldn`t breath.
my husbnad was seated at my left side i watched his eyes as he could look at me then down at the dr. and back
I asked the nurse if everything was going good?? and then he told me he could see his head...it`s a big baby he said thy had to use forceps and then they said I was going to feel pressure as they pushed really hard on my chest just under my ribs to push baby payton out...that really hurts!! ( remember that part from my first c-section)
I gripped my husbands hand and looked him in they eye until they showed us the baby over the curtain ...he was so wrinkled and swollen looking they he was quickly taken I heard him begin to cry and cough...(he swollowed alot of fluild on they way out)
all the nurses and even the dr begin guessing his weight...I heard everything from 8lbs. to 11 lbs. but they didn`t weigh him there they took him to the nursery they wanted to make sure his blood sugar was ok... ( since i had insulin required gestational diabetes and since he was a big baby)
my husbadn left me at that point and I was laying there they where sewing me up I watched a nurse call back to the nursery to see how much he weighed... 10lbs. 1oz!!!
I took a deep breath and put my hands on my ribs that I hadn`t felt in months!!! I was so glad it was over and he was out!!
befroe they where done sewing me up I started itching!! first my nose and then my arms...it was a reaction to the spinal meds... in recovery I was given med.s for it...I asked the nurse in there to check on PAyton`s sugar since I hadn`t heard anything ..she called the nursery and said it was 48 which is good !! I was happy and able to relax a little...
after an hour in my recovery room I was taken to my room and baby Payton was wheeled in ... I nursed him right away as I looked over every inch of his body...
so amazing we make something so tiny and perfect!!
I`m so thankful that he is healthy and finally here!
recovery this time was mich faster and I wasn`t as sore scheduled c-sections are better than emergency ones!
