Ryerson-`s birthstory

well i woke up the day before i was due...on mon feb 18th with a bit of back pain, i was pretty mad bc i wanted baby to come b4 his due date and didnt see this happening. my hubby left to play hockey and i continued about my chores, but started getting some cramps, didnt think much of it but eventually started bleeding so when hubby came home i told him we probaly should go to the hospital, well we arrived and no one would check me bc im a `first time mom` and `we go slow` well, i really had to poop ( sorry tmi) so the nurse was forced to check me, and much to everyones suprise i was 8cms!!!!! so then things started rolling i got in my room and told everyone i didnt want drugs, (and really didnt need them, bc i still didnt feel pain, just period cramps) i was laughin and joking, everyone thought i was on some drugs and were blown away when they found out i wasnt (so was i) anyways, the doctor arrived just in time to see the head come out! i pushed for about 20mins, my labour was about 3 hrs long, and for about 1/2 hr they kept telling me not to push as the doc was not there yet....one hour was spent with me waiting to be checked, before they found out i was 8cm that is....so it went very fast. i had to have stiches but everything was fine, it really just felt like a big poop....i still cant get over how painless the ordeal was for me, boy im grateful...my recovery hasnt been to bad, i have a bad burised tailbone so its sore to sit and stand and the stitches dont help...thats probally my biggest complaint, id rather give birth again than feel this bruised tailbone of mine!!! baby Ryerson is very healthy and VERY good, hes awesome at feeding and were having no trouble at all....so far :)
