Chloe-Madeline-Peattie`s birthstory

i was admitted to be induced on tuesday afternoon to have the balloon catheter inserted, which didn't hurt too much going in but once inflated it brought on some very strong cramps which died off so i could get some rest for the big day on wednesday. on wed morning they took mr up stairs to the delivery suite where they broke my waters at around 8.00am and said they'll give me a drip in an hour if contractions don't start before that. Well about 45mins later i started having contractions and they gradually built up intensity. it hurt soooooo baaad i begged them for an epi but they turned me down saying i don't have long to go, which pissed me off because i thought they were lying. not long after that my moans turned into screams so they helped me onto the birthing stool and helped me through the contractions, and not long after little chloe arrived. the midwives i had were incredible and stayed with us the whole time, and my hubby kane was awesome, even though i nearly broke his neck (he was sitting behind me on the bed when i was on the stool, and with every contraction and push i would wrap my arm arond the poor guys neck and pull him down to my shoulder and would then scream very loudly into his ear) 1st stage of labour lasted 1 hr, 2nd stage lasted 30mins.
