Kaylynn-Brooke`s birthstory

Well as most of you know I just had a little baby girl! She arrived into this world at 8:18pm on Wed Dec. 17th. She has very little dark hair and dark blue eyes. She weighted 8 pounds and 15.6 ounces and was 22 inches long. She was a biggin! hehe I love her to death and shes the most gorgeous baby ever! I went into the hospital Tue night and then early Wed morning they came in to get things started. I was started on Piticion (spelling ??) and started having contractions. They also gave me some pain killers (not an epidural) and it knocked me out. so almost all day Wed all i did was sleep. Then they came in at 6 pm to `check` me and i had not progressed AT ALL. We then decided that I needed a c section. So we got everything ready and I got a spinal. Thats the oddest feeling in the world! But everything went great. I got to see her then she was taken to the nursery. Heres where ALL the fun began. Well after everyone left the hospital (around midnight) Kaylynn, Brandon, and I ate then went to bed. They had told me that when she was born her sugar was low. So before I could feed her again they had to check her sugar. Well she wasn`t suppost to eat till 3 am, but she got hungry before then. So we got her checked, and it was still low. They checked it again just to make sure that their machine wasn`t messed up and it was reading low still. She had to be sent to the NICU for an I.V and get her sugar up :( I was horrified! Well she got better, started eating more and holding it down. Her sugar eventually came back up on its own and by Friday night she was sleeping in the hospital room with me. It was so wonderful getting to sleep through the night with my new little angel! She slept all through the night and I love every min of being a mommie!
