Olive-Papillon`s birthstory

I was admitted to the hospital on July 17 with high blood pressure and protein in my urine. I was given more tests and on friday night they informed me that they were scheduling a c-section for Monday, July 21st at 3:00 pm. They gave me steriod shots for the baby for the next two days and put me on Magnesium sulfate to keep me from having seizures.

The doctor decided to take me in for the c-section early and Olive was born at 2:48 pm weighing 2lbs 3 oz. and crying, kicking and fighting with the doctors.
She`s a tiny little bundle of fiery temper. She`ll be in the NICU for about 2 months, but is breathing on her own and is doing very well.

I didn`t get to hold her for a full 24 hours, but once I did it was well worth it! She was crying and the moment they put her in my arms, she stopped crying and snuggled right up to me. DArling baby!
