Olive-Papillon`s birthstory

I was admitted to the hospital on July 17 with high blood pressure and protein in my urine. I was given more tests and on friday night they informed me that they were scheduling a c-section for Monday, July 21st at 3:00 pm. They gave me steriod shots for the baby for the next two days and put me on Magnesium sulfate to keep me from having seizures.

The doctor decided to take me in for the c-section early and Olive was born at 2:48 pm weighing 2lbs 3 oz. and crying, kicking and fighting with the doctors.
She`s a tiny little bundle of fiery temper. She`ll be in the NICU for about 2 months, but is breathing on her own and is doing very well.

I didn`t get to hold her for a full 24 hours, but once I did it was well worth it! She was crying and the moment they put her in my arms, she stopped crying and snuggled right up to me. DArling baby!

James-Albert-Paul`s birthstory

We went in for our planned c-section. Everything went well, and I was laughing and giggling at the attending doctors and nurses. Everything from telling them the story of my tattoo, ( they asked) to picking out classic country music and singing along with the anesthetist as he gave me my spinal block. We were expecting a large baby, but instead I had lots of fluid and a 6 lb baby. He was born to the song Sweet Home Alabama by lynard skynard. Which is a meaningful song to me and has some amazing memories attached to it... Just one more sweet memory. He`s absolutely gorgeous and looks so much like my daughter Olive. I`m in awe. Sweet little Olive is so excited to be a big sister and is taking the job seriously. `mama, James is hungry, go feed him!` and the like. She`s so proud. They released us from the hospital on Sunday afternoon, Aug 21st after a two day stay.
