Well I had woke up thinking that maybe I was having contractions but I didnt want to say anything yet because I wasn't for sure. I secretly timed them throughout the day and finally around 1 o clock I decided to tell everyone and go to the hospital. When I got to the hospital they said that I was only 2 cm and that I needed to walk around and see if that progressed me since they were unable to admit me yet. Unfortunately that did me no good and they decided to send me home. Well not long after I left the hospital I began getting really bad contractions and decided to go back. When I got there they checked me and said I was mayby 2.5 cm. I thought I was going to die. They suggested that I get in the shower and see if that helped my pain and progression. I stayed in there with my boyfriend for about an hour. It was the greatest thing ever. I felt no pain. I decided to finally get out because I actually thought my labor had stopped! They checked me and I was already and 8!!!!!! I was so excited but in a ton of pain. They were in a rush to get me admitted and everything was a blur from there on out. I had to WAIT while I was complete so that the doctor could get there. That was hell. But I had my baby girl at 9:23pm after just 4 pushes!

I had been having contraction for over a day now and they weren't coming any stronger or closer together but I had a doctors appointment so I was hoping that they would have some sort of news for me. I already had a ultrasound scheduled because my stomache hadn't grown in over 3 weeks. I went in and had that first and the tech told me that my fluid was at the very lowest score that they had which was 5. So I already had a feeling that I was going to be induced. I went on to my Dr. Appt and right away after I told her that I was having contractions for over 24 hours straight she checked me and then decided to strip my membranes since I was only at 3 cm. Holy Hell that hurt so bad. She then told me that she would see me in a week if I didnt have the baby sooner. So I mentioned to her about my ultrasound which she took one look and told me I was having the baby tonight. I went home and got my stuff and said goodbye to my daughter and headed up there. We arrived at about 5:30 and they began with blood work and an IV and all the usual paperwork. Because I my past history of have fast progression they decided to give me my antibiotics before they started the pitocin since I was GBS positive. Around 7:30 they started me on the pitocin and the contractions started to get stronger right away. I labored until around 10 when the pain started getting really bad and I asked for an epidural. I was told I couldnt have one since I was still only 4 cm and they wanted me at atleast 5cm. So I opted for some stadol. That helped me tremendously because I was able to sleep between contractions even though it did nothing to dull them. Finally at about 12 I couldn't handle the pain anymore so I told the nurse that my pain was at a 10 and I needed something NOW! She came and told me she would call the anesthesiologist. She checked me and I was finally at a 5 anyway. It seemed like forever until he got there but once I was up and sitting for the epidural I had alot of pressure and had a feeling the baby was close. I didnt dare say anything because I wanted that epidural so bad! lol She inserted my catheder right after and I had tons of pressure which they told me was normal. I kept trying to ignor it until a little after 1 when I finally couldnt take it anymore. She came in and checked me and I was COMPLETE! In only an hour I had completely dilated which I think was due to me sittting up as gravity greatly helps me in labor. She called the midwife to come down the whole time I was trying so hard not to push. Finally she arrived and broke my water. I had very little fluid at most a cup!!!! Thats probably the reason that it never broke as there wasnt enough pressure on the bag. I pushed for about 10 minuted and out came my sweet baby boy. He is perfect as can be. I didnt even tear or anything due to my wonderful midwife who stretched me and made me stop as he was crowning. That's my story :)
