My birth story for Joey..

Well he was due June 19th 2005 but did not make his appearance until June 24 2005. My niece and ex brother in law decided they were going to come visit and be here for the baby's birth. Well on June 23rd we decided to go eat some food at Ruby Tuesday and I went to the salad bar and that is where it all began....my 1st real contraction......but I was determined to eat. So I ate my food and decided to go home and see if I can get some rest. Yeah right. well while everybody else laid down to sleep i was up having contraction after contraction. about 5am I could not take it anymore and I woke up the hubby and said this is it it is time to go. My neice decided she wanted to come too and be part of the whole expirience which I was cool with. We got there about 6am and I was still only 1cm but contracting very well. The doc came in around 730 am and broke my water got my epidural around 10am and by 1pm I was 10 cm and ready to push. I pushed till 243pm when my beautiful healthy crying baby boy. Joseph weighed in at 8lbs 2oz and 21 inches long. He was perfect........I LOVE him sooooo much

My birth story for Zack

Well Zack was due November 5, 2008 but decided he wanted to make his appearance a little early. I was hanging with all my friends on a Saturday night(october 27th) and I was just telling them that he was gonna be born tonight cuz it is a full moon...well we all laughed because I did not have one sign of labor at all. The only thing is that I was more tired then normal. I was ready to go home because it was also the world series on and my team the Red Sox was playing and I wanted to watch the rest of the game. So me and the hubby went home I put Jo-Jo to bed and turned the game on. All of a sudden I got a sharp pain and the urge to have to pee at the same time so I went to the bathroom and I was bleeding. I decided to sit and wait it out and I was like ok gotta be again and more blood so I cold my OBGYN and she said most likely it was my plug but it was my choice on what I wanted to do. I decided to wait and about 1/2 hour later I told Rich its time to go. I called my baby sitter for Joey and we headed out. got to the hospital at 3am and I was 3 cm so we called the baby's Godparents and told them I was staying and to hurry over(they were going to be in the room for delivery) about 2 hours later i was 5cm and the doc broke my water. I recieved my epidural and waited well i did not progress any for a bit so at 930am they decided to start pitocin so they went and got the stuff hooked it up and the doc decided to check me and whoa........baby's head was right there. I started pushing at 952 and he was out at 1002am. 7lbs 13oz 21 1/2 inches long.....he was also perfect. I love him soooo much
