I was having pressure on my prelvic area since Sat. so I tought maybe my shorts were on too tight or my baby had dropped. So I went on threw out the day with like if nothing was going on but I just felt that something was going on. Sunday I woke up with severe pressure and some contractions that Ive never felt before so went to the hosp. at 1pm but got sent home 4hrs later since I was only 1cm dialated. That same night, the contractions were getting stronger. went to the hosp again at 4am mon. morning. Dr. said that I was going to deliver today. I was only at 2cm. They put on Pitocin, UGH! Painful!!! Got checked again at 10am and was at 4-5cm. I was so frustrated b/c I was in so much pain! An undescribable pain! I was gruntting, moaning but not screaming so I requested for an epideral that early on in labor. At that point I didnt care anymore I wanted meds. Before that, dr. broke my water and thats when I was really wanting the epideral. After getting some relife I was starting to feel the contractions again! It started to wear off. Again got checked at 12pm and was at 8! So excited and dr said that I might deliver soon. Little did he know that 20min later I was telling the nurse that I felt like pushing and I was at 10cm! I was ready to go. But another nurse pumped up my epideral and made me numb again. I was scared b/c of the fact that I couldnt feel a thing. But I knew that I was pushing but didnt say anything. Dr. came in and I was ready to push. Let me tell you, with that epideral it was very difficult to push since I was numb. Took 4 pushes and 8min later he was here! I feel in love instantly! I hope my story made sence and apologize if it doesnt but I havent slept since fri night and just came home 2hrs ago. Going to bed with my new boy!!!!!
