Adrianna-Toni-White`s birthstory

I woke up around 1am on Saturday cramping. My husband works nights so I just decided to take a shower and try to relax since he would be home around 3:30 anyway. After the shower, I noticed the cramps would come and go. I started timing them and noticed they were either ever 2 1/2 minutes or 5 minutes apart. I called my mom and who told me to call my doctor. The doctor told me to wait until the cramping was unbearable before I went to the hospital since it was just 5 minutes away.

Time goes along and I find myself having to practice the breathing techniques I learned in that $60 dollar class. When my husband came home, I told him to just take a nap and I would wake him when I needed him. Around 5am, I decided that it made no sense for me to sit there having obvious contractions for 4 hours and I should go to the hospital just in case.

So I waddle my ass to the hospital (smile is still on my face at this point) and check myself in wondering if they were going to send me home on some false labor stuff. But guess what, I was 5 centimeter dialated!!!! I was so scared, all I kept thinking was `this is it, I cant believe it!!`

Fast forward to the labor room. I was doing really good with the contractions (breathing, focusing and having by husband there). I just kept thinking how bad I wanted to deliver naturally but that this was taking way too long and that I may not have the strenght to make it when I am really dialated. THey checked me and told me I was 8 centimeters and my doctor told me she was suprised I wasnt screaming. After that, I knew I had to do it. No turning back...well, almost. She ended up breaking my water and HOT DAMN if those things didnt start feeling like..... whoooeeee!!! So after a couple of hours, I asked for that stuff to help you in between contractions. The nurse said it would take the edge off but the only difference I felt was like I was drunk and having the SAME DAMN CONTRACTIONS! That wasnt much help.

OK moving along. Finally I got to the part when I felt like pushing. That is the weirdest, no control having, OMG what the heck feeling I`ve ever felt. The nurse is telling me not to push and my body had a mind of its own. Thats when the grunting and yelling started. That and when the doctor decided to `help` me in 2 different places because I was stretched as far as I could go as she could see it. (I am still suffering). WIth one big push, Adrianna`s whole body flew out along with an `explosion` (my husband called it) of fluid that got on anyone within 3 feet!!! I still cannot believe I did it!!!
