Sunday Morning (nov 1) about 130 AM I was having contractions and had a bath, after I got out of my bath i used teh bathroom and my bloody show started. I went to L&D and they hooked me up, checked me and said my cervix was just softening, so I was sent home contracting and in intense pain with some pain meds. Went back to bed at about 30 Am still contracting all night and at about 6 30 AM I got up to pee and my water broke. It was just a little gush enough to soak my pants to back in I went. Hooked me up to the monitors and my contractions stopped. Not a single one. So they sent me home. I was to come back at 7pm that night to be acessed. So that night I went back, still no contractions, babe at -2 and only anout 2 cm dialted, so they sent me home AGAIN. to phone the next morning for my induction time. I was told the next mron I was to be induced at 8am ( it was 7 15 am) So we rushed out the door and when we got there the nurse told me reception messed up and i was to do a NST now and to PHONE at 12 to see if they were ready, Went home, phoned and again they said phone at 3 pm and they`ll let me know. I was sooo upset and emotional with broken waters and now its been 30 hrs since my water broke and I was terrified I was going to get an infection. 3pm came and AGAIN I was told to come back at 7pm but this time I was to be induced. So away we went, hooked me up to the oxy and contractions started, they were SOO intense and very irregular, but I was dialating. I dialated to 5 cm and stopped. They kept upping the oxy and the pain wa sgetting worse. I had morphine and the pain was managable. By this time it was about 4 am tuesday Nov 3 and I was exhausted. they had 4 other woman being induced and 3 others in labour and not enough nurses so they turned off my oxy and let me sleep. I slept until 8 am that day and they woke me up, checked me and turned the oxy back on. I laboured erratically for the rest of the day and dialated to 6 cm. I was exhausted and my dr asked the specialist fr a c section. specialist (Odulioo) said no. so I asked for an Epi. After that I felt pretty good. They let me go for longer. I wanted a section so bad bed kept through it. at about 12 midnight the pressure was so intense I was crying with every contraction and they were grouping ( 3 - 4 contractions in 5 mins and than no contractions for 3 minutes) so again i asked for a c section, Odulioo said no. So they uped the oxy again and the pressure becme unbearable. His head was STILL at -2 and I was fully dialted, o they made me push. i pushed for 45 mins with no luck. Pushing was the best pain relief I had. but his head still didnt move. My cervix swelled back o 9 cm on one side so Finally a c section was ordered. they laid me flat and babe rested on my bladder/cathedar. I thought I was gunna die. the pain was horrible. spinal tap went in and all i wanted to do was sleep. I heard him cry and it all became worth it. His head was so stuck in my pelvic bone that he plugged the water and pushing caused his head to cone out horribly. but he was soooo cute. He was put in NICU for 3 days to ensure no infection. He weighed 9 lbs 14 oz and they should of gave me the section days before. But here there were so many woman in there being sent from different towns they had to put moms on beds in the waitingroom and put moms in with babies in the NICU. it was crazy! but my little man is here at home with me and i have never felt more right in my entire life.
