Tyler-Joseph`s birthstory

Scheduled c-section on 12/16 at 7:30 AM - actually went into labor at 4:00 AM that morning, and could not believe it! My water broke, I was contracting like crazy, sick to my stomach, throwing up everywhere. It was not fun. Never expected to have to experience labor with a scheduled section! I was contemplating trying for the VBAC that I so badly wanted, but after talking to the doctor, we decided it would be best to continue with the c-section, as the baby was not in a good birthing position. That on top of having a previous c-section due to failure to descend (my first was in the same position as this little guy)and a narrow pelvis was a pretty good indicator that I would most likely end up with a c-section anyways. So, after laboring for a mere 3 1/2 painful hours, I was given a spinal block and went in for surgery. Recovery this time around has been SO MUCH easier! I was terrified of having a c-section because of the recovery I encountered the first time around, but it has really been a completely different experience. We are so happy and feel so blessed to have Tyler as an addition to our family!
