Adria-Isabel`s birthstory

updating the status of my labor was an easy thing via cell phone. Haha. Basically most of my labor was obviously long and just a waiting game... with no pain - that is, until the end of it of course... epidural wore off. Yeah. Painful. Anyways, what came about was definitely surprising but I suppose little Adria knew everything I had endured on this crazy journey and wanted to join me in this big world.

So what do you get when your doctor is on VACATION...you are only 34 weeks along AND your child`s father is out of the country and can`t fly in in time for the birth?? You get ADRIA`S ARRIVAL.... lol As my life seemingly goes these days... it`s always absolutely 100% NOT the way I expected.. (my luck eh?) but I had to make lemonade out of lemons. She was born on Thursday, April 24th at 9:03pm. She is 17 3/4 inches and 5.7 pounds at birth. She was in the NICU for 2 weeks and it was the hardest thing not knowing when she would come home but she did! She is beautiful, wonderful and worth everything!
