Birth Story

OK so on Aug.27th 2007 at like 5:30 am i wake up with contractions they are 10 mins apart.. that gos all the way to 7:00am when i got to pee and lose my mucus plug.. then the contrations pretty much stop like i was having one an hour!! i go to the doc and he said i was at 2 cm and like 100% effaced.... he just told me if my water breaks or if the contractions get to 5 mins apart for an hour to go to the hospital.. so i go home and sit aroumdjust waiting and still haveing gontractions about an hour apart then around 7:00pm they start to get closer togather again. like 10 mins apart so i keep timeing them and try to get a little bit of sleep ...... witch i couldnt get any .... form 2am to 3 am the contractions were 5 mins apart i wake up my hubby and say it is time !! i think!! he says are you sure? i was like i dont know they are 5 mins apart so i think i am sure... the worst they can tell us is it isnt time and send us home... so we go and i let him stop at the gas station to get a pack of cigs!! lol so then we get to the hostital and go to labor and delivery and they check me and said i was 5 cm soo i was staying!! ahhhhhh! lol they take me to my room and i get my drugs!! i watched a little tv and all my family got there and around 10:00am on aug.28th 2007 they get me to start pushing!! and at 11:07am my baby boy was here!!! so beautiful and healthy!! the doc had to cut me !!!! so i had to be stiched up before they brought the baby back to me!! it seemed like the longest thing i had every had done!!! lol but it was great the healing part i could have done without!! well thats my story!!
