Kaleb`s birth story

I woke up December 5 to go pee and when I stood up I had warm water dripping all over my leg and all over the bed, So I thought I just peed myself I wasn`t sure what it was! My boyfriend said go lay down and call the doctor, So I went back to sleep and woke up at 8am and lots of clear fluid came out so immediatly I contacted the doctor and she said come in at 9:30 so i made breakfast and called my grandmother to drive me. I wasn`t having any steady contractions, Just some random ones every hour or so. So the doctor checked me and sure enough she said my water broke, and I was only 1cm dilated. She said go to the birth place NOW! So by then i was sooo excited scared nervous.. This is finally the day! I called my boyfriend and he rushed to the hospital.

I got admitted to the hospital, they put me in a room w/another lady in labor, until they had an empty labor room It took about an hour. Finally I got into the labor room. The doctor came in and said i`m going to be given pitocin because I could get an infection if i didn`t give birth in 24 hours since my water broke. well when I got into the labor room i was having contractions about every 5-8 minutes.. the nurse eventually gave pitocin and it was all down hill from there!! I was in so much pain thank god my boyfriend was so good he had to talk me through every contraction. I swear it felt like i wasn`t going to make it at times.. I had a few vistors during Labor! I told them all to leave, the doctor came in and said i was still only 2 1/2 cm dilated! I thought this was never going to end!! So they kept giving me more and more and more pitocin, I was getting contractions every 2 minutes at one point, and they soo long and so strong.. I kept crying for pain relief but nothing.. until finally i gave in and had a half dose of pain relief, it made me drowsy so i only took half the dose.. it only lasted about 1 hour and the contractions were back..the doc came back in at around 12am and said i was 4 cm.. so he said epidural time when the nurse is ready..so finally at 1:30am I got the epi! AND IT WAS HEAVEN!!! My gosh! I finally got rest, and at 5am I woke up with intense pain in my butt. I felt like i had to poop!! GOOD SIGN! The doctor said I would be pushing in 1 hour.. I felt a lot of pain/contractions in my butt..

I started pushing at 6:30am It was hard to push being numb but the held my legs up, I felt so tired and weak seeing i didnt sleep for 2 days but i did it.. thank god the nurse and doc talked me though it, i pushed for 2 hours! Finally his head came out and i thought and he came right out after that!! NO TEARS/STICHES!!!! I was so relived. The doctor put Kaleb on my chest, Daddy cut the cord.. and I just started BALLING I couldn`t believe the instant love!! He is a true blessing from God. And all that pain was worth it.

Gianna-Rose`s birthstory

I was sitting in bed watching my favorite tv show Monday Night, and at 8:30pm i felt a gush of water come out of nowhere, I got up and the bed was pretty wet, I was so surprised! I ran out in the living room and told Brandon, `I think my water broke!` then a huge gush of water came out and he`s like oh yeah it`s time! So he called his dad, got everything together, his dad came over to watch Kaleb.. The doctor told me to come into L&D. We got to the hospital about an hour or two later, my pants were soaked! I was leaking SO MUCH! .. but I wasn`t even contracting yet!

They got me in the room and hooked me up to the monitor, Brandon and I tried getting some sleep, he got sleep i didn`t. I started having little contractions every 10-15 minutes, nothing huge. At 6am the doc came in and said he wanted to start me on pitocin and I was only 2cm, 75%effaced, I was kinda upset I had to be put on pitocin again, and I wanted to at least wait it out and see if my body would do the work..

Well They started me on pitocin around 7:30AM. I ate a little breakfast and then contractions started coming! I was contracting every 1-2 minutes and they were so INTENSE! I felt like i wasn`t getting a break! I laid in the bed, rocked on the rocking chair (which i loved doing the most) I walked around the hospital with brandon and i took a hot shower all trying to help me relax a bit, i listened to my ipod also. Brandon talked me through the contractions, thank god for his hand i was squeezing the hell out of it through every contraction, after a long 4 hours of laboring i started getting terrible back labor also so i said okay epidural time! (I tried holding off as long as possible i didn`t think i was that dialated since i dialated so slow w/kaleb and i didnt want to slow down contractions too much w/the epi) Doc came in and said i was 5cm and just about 100% effaced! i couldn't believe it! So i waited for the epidural guy to come, it seemed like a lifetime! Finally around 20 mins later he came in and asked me a million questions i had about 5 contractions waiting for him to just give me the damn epi! He gave me the most amount of it as possible he even said wow you are contracting a lot! haha. So i was in heaven! I told him he`s God lol. Well i finally laid down and relaxed, not even an hour later i start feeling contractions again! The nurse couldn`t believe it! she said are you sure you don`t just feel pressure` i said no i have to breathe threw these contractions so she ran and got the doc, turns out baby Gianna was ready to come out! it only took an hour to contract from 5cm to 10!! doc said to push and see how far down she is, i pushed once and her head started poking out! so doc said don`t push she had to rush and prepare for the birth! she couldn`t believe how fast she wanted to come out! I pushed about 4 times and out came baby Gianna! It was over! they laid her on my tummy and i just started BALLING! I finally met her, Also i didn't even tear at all! i didnt tear w/kaleb either im so thankful :)

She is absolutely beautiful and yes she was worth every single contraction and every day of being sore, tired, and pregnant! ha! she is amazing <3 she is such a good baby.

I got discharged in 24 hours also, i didn't have to stay 2 nights thankfully so now im home w/my two beautiful children God blessed us with. My back is very sore from the epidural and i have been getting BAD cramping they said that's normal especially after your first kid. But other then that i'm fine!


BORN AT 1:35PM 7LBS 3OZ 19 INCHES 10 DAYS EARLY..
